北海道の“雑学裏ネタ”という事で今回注目するのは「エゾシカ」のこと！！

突然ですが、皆さん“エゾシカの肉”を食べたことがありますか？

好んで食べる方もたくさんいると思いますが、エゾシカは北海道で“駆除対象”の野生獣となっています。そしてこの野生の肉には、寄生虫やウイルスが存在している可能性があるんですよ。皆さんの中に「美味しいから、取り寄せてたまに食べている～！！」という人がいるかもしれませんが「新鮮だから大丈夫」だとか「完全に熱を通したら問題ない」ということはありません。

エゾシカは、明治時代自然災害によって一時期“絶滅寸前”となりましたが、その後の保護政策によって数がどんどん増え、平成22年には、北海道内で約65万頭いるともいわれているんだそう。

現在では、通販でエゾシカ肉を販売しているお店が多くなってきましたが、実は少し問題があります。通常、出回っている食肉は、畜場で公的検査を受けていますが、もとは野生肉なだけに検査を受けずに販売されているものもないとは言えないのです。

例えばの話ですが、“公認処理施設の許可を得た施設”で、素人ハンターが解体した場合でも、建前は「きちんと公認施設で
解体された食肉」ということになります。

実際に“ベテランハンター”で知られる方が、加工・処理の違反をしていたとして、保健所から厳重注意を受け、現在、その通販サイトは販売を中止しているんだそう。

ネット通販が、“当たり前”となっている今だからこそ、特に直接口にするものには十分な注意が必要ですよ！！

エゾシカと同じ野生肉であるイノシシの肉をバーベキューにして食べた人たちが“Ｅ型肝炎”に感染してしまったという事実があるのも問題となっています。エゾシカは、“家畜”として育てられているものは存在しないので、すべて“野生”！！
野生の肉には、きちんと品質管理が出来ているものなのか、信用できる購入元なのか、ということが重要となります。

そして、エゾシカが感染してしまう病気、CWD“鹿慢性消耗性疾患”を知っていますか？
